The Indianola City Council met in regular session Monday evening. The council received presentations from the Indianola Chamber of Commerce and Warren County Economic Development, and appointed Lin Stecker to the Planning and Zoning Commission, Bob Kling to the Bravo Commission, and Elizabeth Miller to serve on the Civil Service Commission.

The council also approved a budget amendment, a sign exemption, a vacation of an alley, rezoning requests, a change order on the Water Resource Recovery Facility Project, and payment for the South Plant Lift Station Improvement Project.

The council also approved a resolution supporting the Des Moines Airport Terminal Expansion Project, which will provide the project with $250,000 over five years. The council also approved depositories, an agreement with Central Pump and Motor for the McCord – Plainview Lift Station Piping Project, a loan amendment for the Streetscape Project, and excessive use claims.
