The final game of the season for Pleasantville’s boys’ basketball squad is tonight as the Trojans travel north to take on the Saydel Eagles.
The Trojans are coming off a win against Interstate-35 Tuesday night, 54-30. Pleasantville will be looking to end the regular season on a high note before the postseason begins. The Trojans have a first-round bye this season, which will give them time after tonight’s game to rest up. Pleasantville won the last matchup between the two schools last year, 58-44. Coach Tom Wilkins tells KNIA Sports that his focus is going to be handling their business against an upstart Eagles squad.
“What I am most concerned about is us. If we just do our stuff, run our stuff, execute our stuff, I like our chances. But it is going to be a tough game.”
The game at Saydel High School gets underway tonight at 7:30 PM.
