The postseason road for the Twin Cedars Girls Basketball Squad begins with a home game tonight against Tri-County. The Sabers will host the class 1A regional with a game against a team they handled in the regular season back on January 6th 57-29. Coach Zack Dunkin tells KNIA/KRLS Sports while the bracket set up is a bit different in years past, he says the road to Des Moines will not be an easy one.

Dunkin: “We play well, we should have good luck and if we win, we’ll likely go to Lamoni. I guess it’s different in the fact we’ve seen interesting matchups on the softball side, so we have to go play it.”

A win would likely send the Sabers to Lamoni to play the Demons for the 3rd time this season. Tonight’s tip off is scheduled for 7:00.
