A fundraiser to help local animal shelters will be held today. Dog owners and canines are invited to Summerset Winery in Indianola for the Smooches for Pooches Fundraiser, which will include a bar for owners, treats and water for the dogs, and a photographer will be on site. Admission is free, and donated items will be collected, and a donated item will provide a $1 discount on a glass of wine. Dogs must be current on vaccinations and on a leash at all times, and owners are asked to clean up after their dog indoors and outdoors. The event will be from 12-3pm.
