The Knoxville Parks and Recreation Center will hold a Public Open House today. Parks and Recreation Department Director Brandon Nemmers tells KNIA/KRLS News the public input session will help future plans make the department even better.
“We’re looking for the good, the bad, why you like that park, where do you think the next trail extension should go, why do you use the rec center, what would you like to see at the recreation center? So, yeah we are looking for any and all input. RDG Planning and Design will facilitate this input session, so they’re experts on gathering all that data and getting it into something that we can make a plan for, for the future.”
The Knoxville Parks and Recreation Center Public Open House will be on the second floor of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
