pleasantville-3

With Pleasantville’s girls’ basketball squad’s season at an end, they will be graduating six seniors from their roster, including four in their starting lineup.

Three Trojan seniors set Pleasantville school records during their career. Rachel Harvey will graduate as Pleasantville’s all-time career assist leader. Adi Adreon will graduate holding a shared record for most three-pointers in a game with six, which she achieved twice during the season. Malorie McKinney will leave as Pleasantville’s school record holder for most blocks in a game, season, and career. McKinney broke the record for most blocks in a game with nine in the Trojans’ first-round loss to Central Decatur Tuesday. McKinney finished with one of her best stat lines of her career, with 19 points, 14 rebounds, and nine blocks. Also graduating for Pleasantville will be Riley Thill, Rayne Olson, and Darrah Core. The Trojans will be returning one player to the starting lineup, who is Azell Smith. Pleasantville will also be returning sixth woman sophomore Joelle Johnson.

Pleasantville finishes the season with an 11-11 record, including a 6-8 record in West Central Conference play.
