Following this past weekend’s Large Group All-State Speech Festival, the Iowa High School Speech Association individual competitions start with the district contests this Saturday.

Students from Pella, Pella Christian, Knoxville, PCM, and Pleasantville will all perform at Marshalltown High School, while participants from Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars will head east to Tri-County High School. Indianola is heading to Urbandale High School.

Those who earn Division “I” Superior ratings this weekend advance to the Iowa High School Speech Association Individual State Contest on Saturday, March 12th at Grinnell High School for the Marion County Schools and to ADM High School from Indianola.
