A round of moderate snow impacted south central Iowa Thursday afternoon and evening. At the KNIA/KRLS Studios in Pella and Knoxville, five inches of snow was measured, and 4 1/2 was the total in Indianola. Snow ordinances were issued in Pella and Knoxville. Travel could remain difficult this morning with many snow-covered roads. A warm up is expected by this weekend, with highs in the 40s.
