The Pella School Board received a presentation about a new logo at their regular meeting Monday afternoon. Pella Activities Director Matt Fouch discussed the proposal after the school district moves toward a new design following potential legal concerns over continued use of the Purdue “P” for general use and in activities. A new “P” logo has been developed, as has a windmill that would be used for athletics. Additionally, the board reviewed the most recent audit, approved health and dental rates for the upcoming school year — which includes a 3% increase for health, and approved the Student Individual Career and Academic Planning.
