Students from Pella and Pella Christian schools have made meals for a cause. Students in family consumer and science classes produced 200 meals for Hope Ministries in Des Moines. Bonnie Verburg helped organize the project, as several non-profit organizations are struggling to keep up with demands given employee and volunteer shortages, as well as increased inflation, which in turn makes it harder to help vulnerable populations.
