Marion County State Bank hosted the 2022 Ag seminar Friday at the Marion County Extension Office in Knoxville. David Greving with Marion County State Bank tells KNIA/KRLS News why the bank hosted the Seminar.
“Ag banking is a big part of what we do, it comprises nearly a third of our work portfolio both here at the Knoxville location and Pella. This is Iowa, so much of what we do economically ties to the Ag sector so we brought these speakers in who are so knowledgeable so they can give our customers insight on how to manage this prosperity that we are enjoying with the high prices.”
Grieving talks about how valuable their partnership with the ISU extension offices is.
“It’s very valuable. It’s of course not just Marion County but across the state and they provide so many resources and knowledge for the farming sector. Iowa wouldn’t be Iowa without the extension service.”
The seminar discussed The Ag market outlook for 2022 and beyond and how to manage your expenses and break-even prices.
