This past week, Pleasantville High School announced their Second Annual 2022 Hall of Fame Class, which includes four inductees.
The inductees for the hall of fame include Scott Koerselman, Grant McGraw, George Wares, and Carla Horstmann. Koerselman holds numerous school records, including passing yards in a game, season, and career. Koerselman also holds the boys’ basketball record for most points in a career with 1,735. McGraw holds school records for most receiving yards in a game, season, and career.
Wares, a Pleasantville graduate of 1972, is the winningest softball coach in Division III History with 1,178 wins in 37 seasons coaching the Central Dutch. Wares also has won four national championships, most recently in 2003. Horstmann currently sits second all-time in Pleasantville school history in points scored with 2,473.
The Induction ceremony will be held September 24th at Pleasantville High School.
