Shop Local Weekend is this Saturday and Sunday in Indianola, days set aside for Indianola and area residents to shop at the various businesses on the downtown Indianola square and surrounding area. Indianola Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Brenda Easter tells KNIA News that residents and visitors can celebrate spring with a staycation here in Indianola, and to check out all the spring and summer merchandise from local businesses. Easter also said every dollar spent here in Indianola stays here, and goes to our local schools, roads, trails, and more, all for the betterment of the community. The Shop Local weekend is March 11th and 12th.
