Phase 2 of the Indianola Downtown Square Reconstruction Project is scheduled to begin today, after being delayed due to weather.

Traffic control and fencing will be erected, which includes Salem Ave from 1st St to Howard, Howard from Salem to Ashland, as well as the intersection of Salem and Howard.
Street removal will begin tomorrow, including work on the water mains, the removal of poles and other street signage, and a turnaround will be established on Salem before the Salem and Howard intersection, which will allow parking accommodation in the area.
