The filing period deadline for anyone running for a position in the upcoming elections is March 25. Marion County Auditor Jake Grandia tells KNIA/KRLS News what paperwork a candidate will need. 

“Depending on what office you are running for, one of the County offices you would need nomination papers and an affidavit of candidacy. If you are running for one of the township offices you would need just an affidavit of candidacy, nomination signatures would not be required.”
