A major commercial development in Pella is on the cusp of completion. Pella Native and Co-Owner of Smash Park Luke Ballenger says the new entertainment venue is scheduled for a late April opening. Ballenger says he joined with local investors to bring the unique concept from West Des Moines to the Tulip City. Smash Park is a key commercial project on the west side of Pella bringing pickleball courts, arcade games, party and entertainment space, and a restaurant.
