Applications for the Indianola Downtown Square Commission are due in two weeks on March 30th. The commission will assist and make recommendations to the Indianola City Council regarding square activities and regulations.The commission will consist of nine members, with the initial members being appointed to staggered terms of one, two, and three years, eventually leading to three-year terms for all members. To be on the commission, you are required to either own property within the square area, own a business within the square area, or reside within the square area, but you are not required to be a city resident.
