Pleasantville’s track and field squads look to send people to the Blue Oval at Drake, and their schedule has them competing with some of the better teams in the state.
The season will begin with both Trojans’ squads competing at separate locations March 29th. The Pleasantville boys will open their season at Pella Christian while the girls will be at Chariton. The Trojans’ girls will then be at Clarke March 31st. The first coed meet of the season for Pleasantville will be April 5 at Lynnville-Sully. That will be followed up with the girls traveling to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont on the seventh and the boys will be at Baxter on the eighth. The two teams will then compete in their second coed meet of the season April 12th at Pella Christian.
Both teams will be back on the track April 14th with the Trojans’ boys at Saydel and the girls at Central Decatur. The next coed meet for Pleasantville will be April 18th at Van Meter. The Trojans’ boys will go to Martensdale on the 21st while the girls will be at Baxter the same day. On the 25th, Pleasantville’s boys will travel to Des Moines Christian while the girls will be at PCM. The Trojans’ boys will be at PCM on the 28th while the girls will travel to West Marshall. The two teams will compete at Woodward-Granger for the West Central Conference Meet May 3rd. The final coed meet of the season is May 5th at Newton. Both teams’ final meets of the season will be May 9th with the boys at Nodaway Valley and the Girls at Martensdale.
Both teams begin their season on the 29th with the boys at Pella Christian and the girls at Chariton.
