The proposed school vouchers program has been a hot topic at the statehouse, Representative Jon Thorup tells KNIA/KRLS News if the proposed program could be passed.

“I’m always surprised by one or two things each session but as far as vouchers go I currently don’t see the votes in the House and I see no problem with it passing in the Senate. In the House, people are a little more reluctant. 

Thorup gives his current thoughts on the bill

“Unless the language changes significantly I just don’t feel it’s a responsible thing to do.”
