The Marion County Democratic convention is today. Delegates elected during the February caucus will convene to conduct party business and approve revisions and additions to the local Democratic Party platform. Elected officials and candidates will have the opportunity to make brief remarks. Chair Louise Esveld tells KNIA/KRLS News observers are welcome.

The Marion County Democratic Party county convention will begin at 10 am March 26 in the Oak Room of the Iowa State Extension Office at 210 North Iowa Street in Knoxville.
