Abnormally dry conditions remain mainly north and east of Lake Red Rock as drought was maintained across the rest of the state in the latest U.S. Drought Monitor Report. The deadline for rainfall data was early Tuesday, so a lot of the moisture that fell this week was not included. Most area rain gauges have received between 1-2” of precipitation since last Thursday. A dry, cool weekend is in place before more precipitation potentially returns by late Tuesday.
