The Pella School Board held a public hearing about the fiscal year 2023 certified budget at their meeting Monday afternoon.

A proposed property tax rate of $14.61 per $1,000 of valuation was approved of the process that includes setting the maximum expenditures for the district in the upcoming budget year.

The board also scheduled hearings for a special meeting Wednesday, April 6th to sell $16 million in bonds and continued a printer/copier lease agreement with Access Systems.
