One day after their first public performance of the spring, the Tulip Queen and Royal Court visited Iowa’s Capitol in Des Moines Wednesday.

Queen Sarah Gritters and the Court of Emily Buckhingham, Kelly Dykema, Ashley Uitermarkt, and Trinity Vos met with Governor Kim Reynolds, State Representative Dustin Hite, and other officials.

The group is presenting locally and touring the state of Iowa between now and the 87th Tulip Time to promote the celebration May 5th through 7th. Stay tuned to 92.1 KRLS, the official radio station of Tulip Time, for updates regarding the festival.
