Simpson Softball is hosting their annual Diamond Dinner and Pitching Camp next weekend, featuring one of the top pitchers in the nation as the Guest of Honor. Head coach Brent Matthias tells KNIA News Odicci Alexander, the reigning D-I Player of the Year for James Madison University, who led the team to their first-ever Women’s College World Series in 2021 and making it to the semi-finals, will be on hand to give instruction in two clinics, one for 4th-7th graders and another for 8th-12th grade students. The clinic and annual Diamond Dinner fundraiser will be next Saturday, April 9th, with the clinics beginning at 9am and 11:30am, and the dinner in the Kent Campus Center on the Simpson College campus at 5pm.
