The Marion County Board of Supervisors will meet in a special session Monday. The board will consider a resolution appointing a new Marion County Recorder. The position is open due to Karen Schwanebeck’s retirement. The Recorder position is on the Ballot for the June Elections and Deputy Recorder Naomi Ellis is the only candidate for the position.
Schwanebeck spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about how she thinks Ellis would do in the position.
“I’m very excited for her, she will do amazing.”
The Supervisor’s special session will begin at 8:30 am
