The Indianola City Council met in regular session Monday evening. The council appointed Jamie Parrott, Michael Egel, Valeri Stickel-Diehl, Amanda Ripperger, Tim Bryan, Rob Keller, Doug Gaumer, Kamie Haynes, Erica Roberts, and Erin Freeburg to the Indianola Downtown Square Commission, and set terms for each of the members.

The council also discussed legal and insurance services, storm shelters, and the council gave directions on a fill strip between curb and sidewalk on the Downtown Reconstruction Project, before going into closed session to discuss litigation and the purchase or sale of real estate.
