PCM Boys Track Places Sixth at Roland-Story, Back in Action Monday at East Marshall
PCM’s boys’ track and field squad competed in their first meet of the season at Roland-Story, and came away with a sixth-place finish.
The Mustangs finished tied for sixth with South Hardin with 34 team points. PCM had three second-place finishes. Aiden Anderson placed second in the 100 and 400 meter dashes. Gavin Fenton, Trey Broderson, Griffin Olson, and Jake Winters placed second in the 4×110 meter shuttle hurdle with a time of 1:10.
PCM will be right back in action for a meet Monday at East Marshall. The meet at East Marshall High School gets underway at 4:15 PM.
PCM Girls Track Travels to Iowa Valley For First Meet of Season
PCM’s girls’ track and field squad will look to get their season finally underway for their first meet at Iowa Valley Monday.
The Mustangs had their first three meets canceled due to inclement weather. PCM was scheduled to compete at home, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, and Chariton for their first three meets. Now, after three extra weeks of practice and mock meets, the Mustangs will take the track for the first time this year. PCM will compete with the host, Twin Cedars, Belle Plaine, Benton, BGM, Clear Creek-Amana, English Valleys, HLV, Montezuma, North Mahaska, Sigourney, and Williamsburg.
The meet at Iowa Valley High School gets underway Monday at 4:15 PM.
PCM Boys Golf Back in Action at Bondurant-Farrar
PCM’s boys’ golf squad will have their second meet of the season Monday as they travel to Terrace Hills Golf Club in Altoona.
The meet the Mustangs are competing in is hosted by Bondurant-Farrar. PCM is coming off finishing second in a triangular at Lynnville-Sully. The Mustangs were tied for first with a score of 161. PCM will compete with the host, Heart of Iowa Conference opponents Nevada and South Hamilton, North Polk and Gilbert.
The meet at Terrace Hills Golf Club Monday gets underway at 2:00 PM.
