The Pella Christian girls tennis team will make up last Tuesday’s match up with Grinnell tomorrow, while the soccer teams take on Des Moines Christian. Having not gotten a match in since last Monday, Eagles girls tennis head coach Danielle Stubbs says they’ve been doing their best to stay sharp.

“We’re just doing what we can and hitting a tennis ball as much as we can and getting as much accomplished as we can and just working hard.”

The Pella Christian soccer teams are hoping for better outcomes against Des Moines Christian this year after going a combined 0-3 against the Lions last season. The Eagles girls soccer team lost their first meeting against DMC 4-1 last year, before following again in the regional semifinal 5-0. The boys soccer team dropped their meeting against the Lions last season 4-0.

The girls tennis match at Pella Christian High School with Grinnell begins at 4:15 p.m. The Eagles boys soccer team hosts Des Moines Christian, while girls soccer travels to DMC with both games beginning at 5:30 p.m.
