The Pella boys soccer team held off several challenges on a long road trip to Waterloo Columbus Saturday, winning 4-3. The match featured a pair of 2021 state qualifiers, and the Dutch never trailed and took a 2-0 lead in the first 11 minutes, only for the home team Sailors to rally back and tie the match at 3-all in the second half. Austin Bone, Logan Solomon, Isaac Semini, and Preston Rowe all scored for Pella. The Dutch improve to 4-0 overall and return to conference action Tuesday at home against perennial soccer power Norwalk.
