President Biden visited Iowa earlier this week, announcing the suspension of a summertime ban on E-15 fuel sales, which is expected to lower the price of gasoline over the next several months at the gas stations that offer the product. During the visit, President Biden complimented the work of Congresswoman Cindy Axne, and what she has done for Iowa.
“My name is Joe Biden, and I work for Congresswoman Axne.” Biden said. ““I learned a long time ago when she says “I have a…” I just say “yes” I say “yes” right off the bat. I tell you what, she is one hell of a champion. I mean it, you ask anyone if you ever come to Washington and walk into Congress and say “Do you know anybody from Iowa?” The first thing they’ll say is mention her name. Thank you, thank you for your friendship.””
All members of the Iowa delegation, both Republican and Democrats, have asked President Biden to suspend the rule, and any car made from 2001 and on can use the fuel.
