The Knoxville School Board Monday approved a proposal from the Knoxville Wellness Coalition for a Musical Playground. Tyler Pearson of the Knoxville Wellness Coalition spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the playground.

“The idea is that we take instruments that are high quality that can last outside so kids can come up and interact with them. Our goal is to buy a whole set of instruments so we will have four different pieces of equipment put together. We are really hoping kids can explore their creativity, and maybe become interested in music at an earlier age.”
