The Indianola, Pella and Pella Christian boys golf teams are competing among teams from around the state at the annual Dutch Masters two-day tournament.

Participating in one of their allowed spring events, Indianola leads the way with a team score of 333, while the hosting Dutch are t-3rd after day one Friday at Bos Landen Golf Course (343) and the Eagles are in 5th (354).

Pella’s Ayden Gordon is 2nd among individuals after shooting a 76, while Will Simpson is 4th at 80 — both are in contention for the Green Jacket awarded to the top individual. Indianola is paced by Preston Bily (81), Jackson Overton (82) and Cooper Nailor (82). The Eagles are led by Eliot Menninga, whose score of 83 is 8th among individuals.

Play resumes for day two of the tournament today at 9 a.m. at the Pella Golf and Country Club.
