The Indianola girls golf team placed second in a quad meet at Oskaloosa Tuesday, scoring a 204 team score. The Indians were led by Kinzey Johnston shooting a 47, Camryn Overton shooting a 49, Amelia Moorlach shooting a 52, and Hanna Graham carding a 56. The Indians next tee off tomorrow at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny.

The Indianola boys soccer team played well against ranked Dallas Center-Grimes on the road, falling 1-0 to the Mustangs as DCG scored in the second half to get the match winner. Indianola falls to 2-8, and travel to Newton on Friday.

The Indians girls soccer squad also had a tough run in with the second ranked Mustangs at Indianola stadium. The Indians fell behind early by just a goal at halftime, then ran out of gas in the final half to drop the contest 5-0. Indianola falls to 3-6, and travel to Ankeny on Friday.

The Indianola girls tennis team overcame Newton Tuesday afternoon 7-4 on the road. Indianola got wins from Hannah Price, Brynn Bishop, Carmen Christensen, and Keely Gruebel in singles, while the duos of Maren Haynes/Audrey Troutman and Bishop/Gruebel also earned wins in doubles action. The Indians are now 4-2, and travel to Grinnell tomorrow.

The Indians boys tennis squad blew out the Cardinals 11-0 on senior night, with Jackson Becker, Lane McGraw, Casey Daughenbaugh, Sam Thessen, Nathan Barth, and Zane Kolosik all winning in singles play and doubles action, with Jake Giofreddi/Carson Graham and Brant Gicante/Erik Jensen adding wins in doubles. Indianola is now 4-2 on the season, and hosts Grinnell tomorrow.
