Work on Phase 2 of the Indianola Square Reconstruction Project continued this week, including the completion of storm sewer work on Salem Ave. The intersection of Salem and 1st St. is anticipated to be open at the end of the week depending on the weather, and work on the removal of Howard St. and storm sewer installation began this week. Over the next several days, subgrade work will begin on Salem to begin reconstructing the street, and electrical conduit work will continue to get street lights installed. Leftover items from Phase 1 such as tree planting will begin on May 9th and continue through the rest of the summer.
