Pella High School’s Band, Choir, and Orchestra departments are coming together for the annual Carnaby Club performances.

Director of Pella Jazz I Dameon Place says Carnaby Club started at PHS back in the 1950’s as a collaborative effort between the High School’s Band, Choir, and Orchestra departments to host a benefit concert to help raise funds to help a student and their family as they struggled with a medical issue. The legacy has carried on throughout the years through a few different formats and names.

Both performances for Carnaby Club on Friday, April 29th & Saturday, April 30th begin at 7:00pm in the High School Auditorium. Admission for this event is $5 per person and tickets can be purchased at the door. There will be a 10-minute intermission with complimentary refreshments provided in the senior lounge. Featured student artwork provided by the PHS art department will be on display before, during intermission, and after the show as well.

The schedule of performances for both nights can be found here.
