The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce is holding their Knoxville in Action Volunteer event Wednesday, April 27 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at the Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum in Knoxville. Knoxville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Emma Skahill spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the event.
“April is National Volunteer Month which made us think there are a lot of local organizations who are looking for volunteers, and people who are looking to get involved. We want to partner with them and help them connect with each other. We are still looking for organizations who are wanting to get involved. If you are an organization that wants to get involved with Knoxville in Action you can email me at director@knoxvilleiachamber.com and we can get you signed up for the event.
Organizations attending will have representatives who will have information about their organization. Community members who are interested in volunteering will have the opportunity to leave their contact information with the organizations.
