The Iowa State Patrol will be placing a focus on Warren County throughout the day today, conducting a special enforcement project. The project will focus on the Iowa State Patrol initiatives of seatbelt, impaired driving, distracted driving, and excessive speed, and will also be looking for move over law violations.
The special enforcement will take place over the entirety of the State Patrol District 2, which includes 11 counties in south central Iowa, with the focus on Warren county. The goal of the project is to reduce the number of accidents and get below 300 traffic fatalities for 2022.
