Local Law Enforcement are taking part in a National Prescription drug take back program today. Marion County Sheriff Jason Sandholt spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the event.

“Anyone that has unused medications or needs to dispose of medication can come to the Sheriff’s office at 211 N Godfrey Lane in Knoxville and one of our reserve deputies will be there to assist.”

You can drop off prescription drugs from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. Other sites include the Pella Police Department  614 Main Street in Pella and the Indianola Police Department at 101 N First Street.
