A tradition at Pella Middle School returned as the seventh graders in Kristin Schulz and Donna Boots’ classes raised funds for charity with a concession stand.
This year, the all-time record was broken as more than $4,000 was earned through the project, with just under $3300 going to the following charities, as voted on and selected by the students:
Many Hands for Haiti – $800 – Zane Redman, Trevin Sutton, Tim Brand:

—
Care Bags – $335 – Cole DeNooy, Annie Foskett:

—
American Red Cross – $330 – Lila Goodenow, Liz Karim, Ireland Bishop:

—
Freedom House – $330 – Lily Podmolik:

—
Team Keegs – $500 – Addison Namminga, Lucy Diers, Susan Lyons:

—
The Well – $500 – Elsie Brenneman, Jenny Hesseltine:

—
Make A Wish – $500 – Presley Butler, Liz Bregenzer
