The Warren County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday, approving the language that will be on the ballot this fall to expand the board from three members to five members. Board Chair Aaron DeKock tells KNIA News as Warren County has grown, he wants to put it out to the voters to decide how they want their board to represent them.

“So on the November 8th, 2022 general election the voters of Warren County will be reading, and I quote “Shall the citizens representation by members of the Warren County Board of Supervisors be increased from three to five members, effective January 1, 2025.” So that will be on the ballot for voters to make a decision in November.””

The board also approved a rezoning ordinance, and gave approval on American Rescue Plan Act funded projects.
