Twin Cedars Senior Ali Mockenhaupt will continue her softball career at Elmhurst College next spring. Mockenhaupt signed a National Letter of Intent on Thursday to play for the BlueJays. Last summer for the Sabers Mockenhaupt was one of the top hitters for the Sabers with 50 hits and a .485 batting average. She was also great in the pitching circle going 8-3 in 75 1/3 innings striking out 67 batters with an ERA of 2.60 and only walking five batters. Mockenhaupt helped the Sabers to a 29-11 season last year winning the Bluegrass Conference. Elmhurst College is an NCAA Division III school and is a member of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin.
