Norwalk Boys Tennis Begins Postseason Play at Marshalltown
Norwalk’s boys’ tennis squad will begin individual district postseason play Monday at Marshalltown.
The Warriors finished their regular season with one match victory over Little Hawkeye Conference foe Newton. Norwalk is coming off placing third in their Little Hawkeye Conference meet Wednesday behind Grinnell and Pella. The Warriors will compete with five other teams, including the host, Des Moines East, Dowling Catholic, Fort Dodge, and Little Hawkeye Conference foe Indianola.
The meet at Marshalltown High School gets underway at 9:00 AM.
Norwalk Girls Golf Has Conference Meet at Pella
Norwalk’s girls’ golf squad will take a trip to Pella for their Little Hawkeye Conference meet Monday.
The Warriors are coming off finishing 3-3 in dual conference meets during the season, including losing to Newton Tuesday. Norwalk defeated Grinnell, Pella, and Oskaloosa. Their losses are to Newton, Dallas Center-Grimes, and Oskaloosa. The Warriors will compete with the other schools in the Little Hawkeye Conference, including Pella, Pella Christian, and Indianola.
The meet at the Pella Golf and Country Club gets underway at 10:00 AM.
Norwalk Girls Tennis Wraps Up Season at Oskaloosa
Norwalk’s girls’ tennis squad will have their final meet of the season Monday at Little Hawkeye Conference foe Oskaloosa.
The Warriors are coming off finishing 2-1 in their quadrangular meet at Ankeny Friday. Norwalk came away with dual victories over Marshalltown and Southeast Polk. The Warriors have lost just one Little Hawkeye Conference dual loss during the regular season, which came against Pella. Norwalk lost to Oskaloosa in the match between the two teams last season, 6-5.
The match at Oskaloosa High School gets underway at 4:15 PM.
Norwalk Boys Track Wraps Up Season at Pella
Norwalk’s boys’ track and field squad will have their final meet of the regular season at Little Hawkeye Conference foe Pella Monday.
The Warriors are coming off placing fifth in the Little Hawkeye Conference meet at Oskaloosa Tuesday. The fifth-place finish in the meet was the lowest finish by Norwalk this season. The Warriors will be competing with seven other schools, including the host, Knoxville, Pella Christian, Grinnell, Newton, Oskaloosa, and PCM.
The meet at Pella High School gets underway at 4:30 PM.
