After Saturday’s historic day for the Marching Dutch as they received their invitation to the Rose Parade, work continues to get the band to Pasadena.

Following a fundraiser to kick-off efforts last month, where the Big Red Radio was in attendance, the focus will continue on offsetting costs for all 211 students involved.

The Pella Athletic Booster Club is continuing a fundraiser on GoFundMe that is tax-deductible and will be spread evenly among all participants going to California at the end of this year. Rose Parade President Amy Wainscott is thankful for the efforts of the area community to ensure the students can all take part in a once-in-a-generation trip.
