The Indianola Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony for The Frame Shop Thursday, welcoming the business to the Indianola Chamber. Owner Megan Shipley tells KNIA News one of her favorite interactions is when a customer who wants to memorialize a picture or item from a loved one comes to pick up the framed memory.

“Almost always when a customer comes to pick up their piece, they are surprised as to how much it’s been transformed into a work of art. It’s gone from maybe a memorable note from their grandmother or something and then we put it in a frame, now it’s artwork they can hang on their walls for a long time. It’s always a positive experience when customers come to pick up their artwork.”

Shipley also said she appreciates having the partnership with the Chamber as they have been great to work with and an excellent resource.
