May 19 is National Stop the Bleed Day and Marion County Public health will be holding a Train the Trainer event. Judy Van Hulzen and Susan Kennedy from Marion County Public health spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the event.

“Our goal is for businesses and organizations to have someone that can train their employees and have as many people trained as possible. Our training is going to be on May the 19th at Marion County Health from 12:00 pm-12:45 pm. Before coming to the training you will need to take a 20-minute course online that will give you an email you will bring to us then we will watch you do a skills check.”
