The current legislative session continues at the statehouse. There are still talks on policy issues but another big topic that is left is the budget. State Representative Jon Thorup spoke with KNIA/KRLS News on where the budget is at.

“Well, that really depends on your point of view. On the House side, we have passed all of our budgets. What generally happens is one chamber will finish a budget vote and pass it and then it goes to the other chamber who will make some adjustments and we will try to find some common ground. Basically, at this point, we are waiting for the senate to pass some of those budgets.”
