Following a dreary, wet week across south central Iowa, the unofficial kick off to summer will bring back more summer-like warmth. According to the National Weather Service, daytime highs will climb back into the 80s for Memorial Day Weekend. Wind speeds will pick up as well, with gusts up to 30 MPH likely throughout all three days. Thunderstorm chances return mainly late Monday and into the middle of next week, although precipitation will be scattered in nature. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for the latest weather information.
