When Emilie Krpan took the head coaching job for the Melcher-Dallas Softball program, she knew she was taking over a program from longtime coach Jim Crozier. Krpan played for Crozier and compiled a 77-and-52 record in the circle and struck out a 907 batters in her five year varsity career from 2015-to-2019. Krpan tells KNIA Sports she is enjoying the new challenge and hopes to continue the success of the Saints program.

Krpan: “It’s a little nerve racking taking over for Crozier. As a player I know what I’m doing, and it’s a pleasure to step in his shoes and fill.”

Krpan adds Crozier has added help along the way with field prep and any other questions she may have. The Saints have a busy week with four days of action starting with Mormon Trail on Tuesday.
