The Knoxville City Council approved more Storefront improvement and Facade improvement grants this week. Knoxville Economic Development Director Glenn Lyons spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the projects.

“Council approved four storefront improvement grants which are a maximum of $5,000. The projects ranged from repainting wood on the facade to more involved projects, including installing new awnings. We had two facade grants approved. One project involves the metal being taken off the front of the building and the other project is similar work as well with repairs to the facade.”
