Both Melcher-Dallas diamond squads had similar fates against Southeast Warren on Monday night with the softball squad falling 12-0 and the baseball Saints losing 21-3. The Warhawks were up 9-0 after two innings and allowed the Saints just two hits. BrieAnna Remster took the loss going all four innings and striking out three. It was a similar result on the baseball field in Melcher-Dallas as Southeast Warren scored in all but the 3rd inning. Cole Metz and Mason Dejong got two hits each for the Saints, while Tristan Bennett took the loss. Baseball is off tonight while softball heads to Orient-Macksburg today.
